At long last, Cifona's efforts were rewarded with the advent of the sun's brilliant rays. At that moment, everyone around her suddenly lost their corporeal form as the purifying light allowed them to ascend into the Heavens. They were all wandering spirits, fated never to pass into the afterlife until Cifona removed the helio-banishing curse. With joyful words of gratitude, they soon faded away into the ethersphere. And Cifona, as lone immigrant to their land, decided to remain there to carry on their legacy.
