Catherine had practically no clothes to wear and no food to survive on. She was as good as naked, and that's when an elder appeared before her, shivering in the cold. Catherine immediately offered the elder the last scrap of clothing she had been wearing. Gazing at his bare benefactor, the elder gently returned the clothing. His palms then rose toward the sky. In that instant the surrounding area became covered in flowers, and the fabric in her hands turned into a bag full of gold coins. The shocked Catherine turned to express her thanks, but found that the elder had gone.
