Marcy found a beautiful egg in the flowery meadow one day. As if drawn to it by some mystical force, she decided to keep it warm until it hatched. Although she was friends with the other animals of the meadow, Marcy felt lonely being the only rabbit. She could not explain why, but she thought that maybe another like her was waiting inside the egg.
