If the command was given, Zero-Four would slay anything. She pierced demons with her lance, cut down soldiers with her sword, and killed the young and defenseless. She saw herself as simply performing the tasks assigned to her, no different than a baker, a blacksmith, or a servant. But no matter how ordinary she believed herself to be, others only viewed her as a fearsome, cold-hearted fiend.
