Chiron spotted an unlikely hero approaching her. She mounted her sacred, shimmering gray horse and raced away. Looking over her shoulder, she caught another glimpse of the hero drawing near. Her entire body trembled in fear, and as she gripped the reigns she felt already half-resigned to her fate. The hero's poisoned arrow came whistling toward her.
