Though having regained a name, Levinda's existence was yet rife with impairment. She could no longer wield her usual spells, speak with her old friends, or even relate to humans. For all she lacked, what she did have in abundance was time, and she used that to reacquire her magical ability. After much arduous effort, she was able to produce a tiny light familiar from her hand. It was trivial compared to her previous accomplishments, but she was jubilant nonetheless, greatly encouraged by progress it proved.
