Caldina shared her residence with a host of phantoms. While they were normally feared, she who had come to know them deeply found no reason to be frightened. After all, because the souls had parted with their mortal bonds did not mean they could no longer be trusted. Caldina easily befriend ghosts as a result, a quality not shared by most of the living.
