Milagros' spear was a symbol of her duty to the Holy Order of Time. When she first received it, she felt as if the gods themselves had recognized her existence. She handled the blessed weapon with the utmost reverence, holding it close at all times as if refusing to permit anyone else to touch it. However, she was so enamored with pride that she failed to notice how the eyes in the graven face would glow with a mysterious light on occasion, releasing white wisps of smoke when it did.
