Tandrey was famous for two things: a fashionable hat and a ruthless attitude. Alcohol was her prime indulgence and anything that interrupted her enjoyment of it was a foe. She would barge into taverns and disappear with equal abruptness. Not even her epithet of 'Mad Hatter' sufficiently described the extent of her behavior.
