Hephaestus' stay in death's embrace was brief as the wishes of her loyal disciples returned life to her. Once again hoisting her blade imbued the fury of a volcano, she at last realized they had aided her in battles prior but so enraptured by bloodlust that she was oblivious to them. She then swore to fight for their sake in recompense, and the black wings she gained in her resurrection reminded her always of that promise.
