Halloween drew near in the netherworld, and a demon prince announced a special ball to be held that night. As all young women, Cinderella wished to attend for the opportunity to seize his heart, but her callous stepmother forbade such a thing. Rather than mewl, she snuck away and requested the aid of a sorcerer, who transformed some small rodents and a rotting pumpkin into a team of monsters pulling a grand carriage of iron.
