Sprawling catacombs could be found beneath the village of Gorotho to the west. In each of the stone-hewn coffins rested a dignitary from an ancient dynasty along with their precious possessions. Gorotho's residents protected them for years against avaricious grave robbers, but Rovidora's band was the first to breach their defense. He announced that the pillaging would stop if they offered their most beautiful maiden to be his bride. Hearing this, the village chief looked towards the coffin with the devil engraving and was struck by inspiration.
