Each member was presented a falcon chick when they reached adulthood, tasked with its upbringing and training in carrying messages. However, her partner was unreceptive to her methods. Rather than perch on her arm, it would alight upon her head. Whenever she would try to fasten the message tube to its leg, it would fly out of reach.
