The demon had feigned exhaustion to tempt the saint into committing murder and stain her with darkness. However, the saint did not give in and, after learning the demon's intent, redoubled her resolve to defeat her foe with honor. Both returned to their dragon forms, continuing the never-ending battle of morality.
