Eventually, Lenaphine surrendered herself to Nagul. The haughty king assumed she was tired of fleeing and wished to meet her husband, but she merely smirked as he raised his weapon. Then, as her captors drew close, she invoked the Circle of Vengeance which instantly destroyed the evil spirits. In the course of her wandering, Lenaphine had learned the spell in order to avenge Vanja's people, aware she would lose her own life soon after.
