The annual festival of romance in Vanalu opened with the ritual summoning of a divine emissary to bless the populace. That emissary differed every time, and this year it was Viskanna. Although she wished to please the goddess of love as any servant should, the cheeky sprite lacked two important qualities as a novice: discipline and temperance.
