She believed that by defeating the foul creatures, she could reclaim her honor. The order hurriedly called on the Hero to seek her. They acted not out of care, but because they feared the slumbering power within her might awaken and spiral beyond control. Her grandmother’s words were true; Marilese possessed a mighty power.
