Lané's disposition for lying came when she realized no one believed her when she spoke the truth as a child. She had often seen shadowy wolf-like monsters, but her claims were dismissed as figments of imagination. Seeking revenge for her stolen voice, she sought out those Cryptids and tamed them with her fury. She then commanded them to attack every official she spotted. If she would be treated as a liar, they would face a deadly reality.
